While Kim and I were in St. Augustine, we went to visit the Kennedy Space Center. I’ve been wanting to go there since I was a kid. In 2000, our family was lucky enough to see the Space Shuttle Columbia launch during a fall-break vacation. We didn’t have time to tour KSC at that time.
We attempted to go there during our first year in the RV. We even stayed in Titusville, right near the Kennedy Space Center. Alas, I had torn my left knee meniscus a couple of weeks prior to the stay, and could barely walk or stand. We did, however, get to see a Falcon 9 launch!
In January we had ample opportunity, and physical ability, to spend the day there. I have compiled a photo essay of our tour. Enjoy!
